FAQ
Do I need a prescription to order?
Nope. Our Discovery Kits use low-power “plus” lenses (+0.25 – +1.75) that are classified as over-the-counter reading aids, so no prescription, insurance or doctor’s visit is required.
How do I know which kit fits me?
Tap Find My Fit and complete a quick face scan. We’ll measure your face width, bridge width, temple length and pupillary distance, then highlight the kit that matches - no measuring tape or guesswork needed.
Will these lenses affect my distance vision?
Only when you’re looking through them. The mild “plus” power relaxes your eyes at screen distance but will blur things across the room. Simply remove the glasses for driving or distance work.
Do you offer prescription or higher powers?

Shipping & Returns
When will I receive my kit?
Every kit is made to specification by our precision optical lab upon order.
Standard shipping takes 7-14 days to receive your kit. Upgrade to express shipping to receive in 5-10 days.
What if the glasses don’t feel right?
Try them for 30 days. If the fit or lens power isn’t working, return the kit for a full refund or swap to another size - shipping is on us both ways.

This whole experience was really great. I put in the information requested and got a package of glasses at different prescriptions to try out. The directions were very easy to follow and the report afterward was extremely helpful, listing the prescription for each trial pair of glasses and putting in the comments that I had for each pair, then finally giving a preferred frame. It was a little like being able to run your own eye exam at home.
